How the HALO Wi-Fi Lock Works

Smart Phone Using the Kwikset App, you can lock or unlock your deadbolt from your smart phone.	Wi-Fi Between your smart phone and the smart lock, WiFi allows you to execute commands from the Kwikset app. The command sent by your phone is communicated to the HALO smart lock via WiFi.	HALO Smart Lock Kwikset's HALO smart lock responds to your command. Confirmation of a successful lock or unlock is sent back to your smart phone.

Remote Access with the Kwikset App

Don't remember if you locked your door? Lock your door remotely using your smartphone and the Kwikset app from anywhere with an internet connection.	Want to check when someone comes home? Check the Kwikset app to view the lock history from anywhere when connected to Wi-Fi on your smartphone.	Manage, create, or delete user codes from anywhere with the Kwikset app. There are 4 available access code schedules available to control who and when guests have access.

Starts once sent

A one-time user code can only be used once within the next 24 hours. Ideal for giving access to contractors who require a single instance of entering your home.

Same time range on different days

A limited by weekday and time can be used anytime or recurringly within set dates and times. This code is for housekeepers and others that consistently come on certain days and times.

This code can be used anytime within the date range set and is ideal for house vacationers who are meant to only stay from one date to another.

About Lock Features

The Kwikset Halo Wi-Fi smart lock uses your existing home Wi-Fi network and internet connection to give you control of your lock from anywhere right from your smart phone.	Create up to 250 custom user codes to share with friends, family, and guests.	Secure Mode will temporarily disable the keypad thereby blocking entry of access codes. Please note that while in Secure Mode, the lock can still be unlocked with keys or paired smartphones.
